Forrest Jinks has over 20 years of real estate experience across the US. Specializing in real estate as an “alternative investment”, Forrest has served as the lead investor in over 200 million dollars of real estate transactions, ranging from single-family homes to large retail centers. Projects include retail development and redevelopment, office repositioning, in-fill residential development, bulk residential transactions, apartment development and repositioning, and various types of bulk single-family exchanges. Prior to founding Altus, Forrest was President of Expowth, Inc., a three-division company focused on real estate development, distressed property acquisition, and property preservation. Forrest’s core competencies lie in investment identification, unleashing hidden value, financial modeling and instruments, investor relations, partner and supplier relations, and project management. He received his B.S. from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and holds a California Real Estate Broker’s License.
Chad Richards

Chad has worked in the commercial real estate field for over 20 years. Initially specializing in investment real estate assets throughout the United States, Chad was responsible for working with developers, property owners, REITS, and high net worth private equity investors. He has facilitated relationships on behalf of his clients and has been involved in the acquisition and disposition of ~$750M of properties in 40 different states. Chad also has an extensive background in 1031 exchanges, investment property evaluation, and sale-leasebacks involving national corporations. Among the many hats Chad wears with Altus, he is also on the investment committee, the leadership committee, and sits on the board of the AE HGF Debt Liquidity Fund.
He currently resides in Sonoma, California and is very active in his community through coaching youth soccer, youth flag football and serving philanthropically as a founding member of a local men’s charitable group.
Eric Mohrmann
Director of Accounting/Controller
Eric Mohrmann is the Director of Accounting/Controller for the Altus Companies. He joined the team in 2021 after working 7 years in public accounting gaining experience in tax, audit, and financial reporting. Since joining Altus, he has been an integral contributor of the accounting and financial reporting team. He is a licensed CPA in the state of South Carolina and is a member of the SC Association of CPAs.
Eric graduated from Clemson University with bachelor’s degrees in Accounting and Financial Management and a master’s degree in Professional Accountancy. He resides in Greenville, SC with his two children where they like to go swimming, hiking and play tennis. He is an avid Clemson Tigers fan and loves to spend Saturdays in the fall watching and attending Clemson football games.
